Captain’s Log, Stardate 54315.3

We are en route to Harrakis 5, the site of a frantic evacuation in the face of approaching Borg. We will arrive with less than 72 hours to assist in the evacuation, just ahead of Captain Banton and his warship. Starfleet has instructed me to assist with the evacuation, as well as ensure the extraction of key personnel.

Captain’s Log, supplemental

The Kzinti are here, and have struck a Faustian bargain with the young Commander Finnegan. Kzinti vessels will transfer refugees, and expect industrial replicators for payment. I was captured and interrogated by rogue assets on station (sidenote: detained Maquis separatist Crowkiller/Waving Grass to be transferred for full psyche eval). Tensions are high after a team was sent in to retrieve me, and engaged with a Kzinti crew. Finnegan has been relieved of command, and we cannot allow Kzinti to have those replicators.

Evacuation of Harrakis 5 has been a success, including the preservation of endangered native flowers. Critical personnel accounted for, and all immovable or irretrievable infrastructure has been compromised. Our deployed probe confirmed 7 borg cubes at Harrakis 5 at the time of this log, extracting the water from the planet.
